Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly qualified gastroenterologist to provide community-based inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a community-based setting
- Participate in teaching responsibilities with third and fourth-year medical students
- Contribute to the UAB Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology faculty meetings, clinical trials, and educational offerings
- Collaborate with mid-level providers, procedural and hospital RNs, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
