Job Title: Yard Jockey

Job Summary:

Capstone Logistics is seeking a skilled Yard Jockey to join our team in Stevens Point, WI. As a Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for operating a yard truck in a safe manner, performing pre-shift checks of equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate yard truck in a safe manner during numerous roll-on/roll-off procedures daily involving loaded and empty trailers
• Perform pre-shift checks of equipment
• Check & verify proper tire pressure on trailers
• Unload product from trailers/containers by hand and/or using pallet jack, and/or forklift
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work in a positive and productive manner with Capstone and the customer employees

Requirements:

• Ability to drive a 53 ft truck
• Ability to fuel and spot trucks
• Attention to detail and adhere to all safety regulations
• A valid Class A CDL is required
• Switching experience is a plus but not required
• Steel Toed Boots and able to lift 75 to 100 lbs
