Job Summary

Cantata Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our sub acute skilled rehabilitation unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality nursing care to patients, implementing specific procedures and programs as needed.
  • Coordinate work within the department and with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and respond to inquiries or requests for information.
  • Assist the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations, adhering to policies and procedures, federal, state, and facility standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Current valid certification of Certified Nursing Assistant credentials, as required by the Illinois Department of Public Health or recommendation of an instructor of an in-state approved C.N.A. program.
  • Completed Competency Test as required by the state of Illinois.
  • Prior experience as a C.N.A. within a long-term care setting.
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, and the general public.
  • Aptitude for detail work and ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position and relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile individuals.
