Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Engineering:
    Develop and refine treatment systems utilizing advanced membrane technologies, ion exchange, and other pertinent methods.

    Generate comprehensive engineering deliverables, including system design specifications, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), control narratives, datasheets, commissioning plans, and operation & maintenance manuals.

  2. Project Management:
    Create preliminary design documentation and project cost estimates to support technical and commercial proposals. Oversee water and wastewater treatment projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  3. Process Optimization:

    Continuously enhance treatment process designs by evaluating performance data, conducting trials, and implementing improvements at operational facilities and for future designs to achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  4. Client Engagement:

    Engage with clients to comprehend their specific needs, provide technical insights, and deliver tailored solutions to address their water and wastewater treatment challenges. Participate in customer meetings, including bid discussions, design evaluations, and safety and quality assessments (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA).

  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    Prepare detailed engineering reports, documentation, and presentations to effectively communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.
  6. Research and Development:

    Stay updated on the latest advancements in water and wastewater treatment technologies, conduct research, and contribute to the development of new products or processes to enhance Gradiant Corporation's offerings.

  7. Industry Standards & Compliance:
    Ensure that water and wastewater treatment systems adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and permits.
  8. Team Collaboration:
    Work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams, utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is advantageous.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of water or wastewater treatment systems, preferably in industrial or municipal environments.

Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, and ion exchange.

Practical experience in the commissioning or operations/maintenance of water or wastewater treatment facilities is preferred.

Familiarity with mechanical equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation is desirable.

Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, along with VBA.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and regulatory bodies.

Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Willingness to travel, including internationally, may be required.
