Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Installation Specialist to join our team at The Structures Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the removal, installation, and fabrication of aircraft interiors, ensuring high-quality results and meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Interior Installation: Safely perform aircraft interior removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors, including items such as trim, carpet, soundproofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels, and other accessories.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work performed meets company design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians, reviewing their work prior to sign-off to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs, and quality specifications.
  • Lead Responsibilities: Accept lead responsibilities as required, overseeing projects or other technicians and assessing requirements of assigned tasks to procure required materials and documentation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; 4 years of applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience; experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation; ability to use hand/power tools and equipment associated with installation and removal of interiors; able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
