The RoleWe are seeking an experienced, independent West Virginia-licensed Physician, currently opted out of Medicare, to join our team as a Telehealth Obesity Medicine Physician.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for obesity medicine and long-term patient relationships, with a strong background in Endocrinology, Bariatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Obesity Management.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with obesity-related conditions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Prescribe GLP-1 medication and other necessary treatments
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest obesity management techniques
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- Flexible scheduling with 24/7 availability
- Custom-built EMR and protocols for longitudinal care model in obesity medicine
- Ancillary services for high-quality patient care, including lab testing, genetic testing and counseling, prior authorization, and customer service support
