About the Role:
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve and enhance patient well-being.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities:
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.
  • Instruct and inform participating members of the healthcare team, the patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
  • Observe and report patient response to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
Requirements:
  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
