Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Technician to join our IT team, responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our users. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Windows and iOS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure desktops, laptops, phones, and tablets for end-users in Kingston facilities.
  • Collaborate with users to troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Distribute new devices to end-users in multiple healthcare territories, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Provide comprehensive support related to all Kingston devices, troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A degree in computer science or a related field, with relevant work experience in IT support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and iOS operating systems, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Availability to work after hours/on call, as required by the organization.
