Position Summary:
L.A. Gauge Company is seeking proficient CNC Machinists who excel in setting up and operating CNC machinery to fabricate components in accordance with precise specifications, while emphasizing safety and quality standards.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with CNC Mill or Lathe operations
- Strong mechanical skills and adept problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret blueprints and apply GD&T principles
- Experience with First Article Inspections and maintaining stringent tolerances
- Familiarity with various CNC controls including Fanuc, Mazak, Doosan, Nakamura, Allan Bradley, Mitsui-Seiki, Yasda, Fadal, Haas, and Matsura
- Proficient in using machine shop instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators
- Basic mathematical skills and understanding of Aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001)
- Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs.

- Identify and set up necessary fixtures, attachments, and tools for machining tasks
- Collaborate with engineering teams and supervisors to ensure product specifications are met
- Adjust machine parameters to ensure precision and accuracy
- Monitor machining processes, detect errors, and implement real-time corrections
- Review and adjust programs as necessary to resolve discrepancies
- Conduct quality assurance inspections to uphold product standards
- Perform routine maintenance to enhance machine longevity
