Job Summary

CareNow is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a PRN capacity. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, and administering injections.
  • Manage patient charts, including collecting patient history and documenting electronic health records.
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes, including auditing charts.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, including in-house lab work and lab results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and visitors regarding clinic progress.
  • Ensure adherence to occupational procedures and client preference cards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing.
  • Current Practical/Vocational nursing license in the state of residency.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
  • Experience using an electronic health record system is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment.
Work Environment

CareNow Urgent Care clinics operate Monday through Friday from 8am to 9pm, Saturday from 8am to 8pm, and Sunday from 8am to 5pm. As a PRN employee, you must be flexible to work during these hours.
