Metrology Engineer

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Metrology Specialist to support our customers within the Strategic Microelectronics Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane.

This role will involve the development of Test Measurement, Diagnostic, Equipment (TMDE) support documents, equipment evaluation based on testing requirements, and review of 3rd party (non-governmental) calibrations and certifications.

• Develop and maintain TMDE support documents and equipment evaluation reports
• Review and validate 3rd party calibrations and certifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment support and calibration
• Assist in the development of processes and change controls for new and existing equipment

• Ability to calculate Test Accuracy Ratios and Test Uncertainty Ratio
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with calibrated equipment measuring capacitance, impedance resistance, and other electrical parameters
• Experience with calibration certifications system, including ISO 17025 and ANSI Z540
• Hold an Associate's or higher-level degree in Electronics Technology or a similar engineering field
• Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• 4+ years of metrology experience

• Experience in microelectronics testing/evaluation
• Experience developing Calibration and Measurement Requirements Summary
