Job Summary

A highly skilled Pharmacist is required to join our team at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall. As a key member of our hospital pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medication orders.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,150 - $89,190 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and approve medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy
* Dispense and prepare medications according to prescription instructions
* Counsel patients on the use of medications and provide advice on potential side effects
* Supervise pharmacy technicians and messengers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements

* Current licensure as a pharmacist in New York State
* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
* 1-2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
