Position Summary

This role is essential within our assembly team, focusing on the production of high-quality commercial dishwashers. You will report to the Operations Manager or Supervisor and will be responsible for executing assembly and fabrication tasks with a self-directed approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain attendance standards as per company policy.
  • Conduct a variety of assembly operations, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks to build, test, and package dishwashers.
  • Assist in the production of sub-assemblies and manage raw in-process manufactured parts.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and perform quality checks to ensure product integrity.
  • Utilize hand tools and powered equipment effectively to achieve production goals.
  • Assemble units or sub-assemblies in the correct sequence and troubleshoot any issues identified during testing.
  • Prepare units for shipment by performing necessary packing operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to support assembly and manufacturing activities, ensuring quality and schedule adherence.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and support just-in-time manufacturing processes.
  • Operate powered industrial lift trucks as required, following safety guidelines.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • Entry-level experience in a manufacturing environment; preferred experience includes 1+ year in manufacturing and 6 months in quality assurance or equipment testing.
  • A commitment to safety and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills for interpreting safety rules and operational instructions.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle standardized situations.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and portable power tools.
