Responsibilities

As a Diesel Mechanical Technician, you will:

  • Communicate vehicle concerns to the Assistant Service Manager (ASM)
  • Diagnose and assess repairs for all vehicle concerns
  • Ride along with customers if the problem persists
  • Manage repair orders to ensure service completion by promise times
  • Maintain a professional work station, including a tool box, vehicle lift, and general work area
  • Achieve hourly goals
  • Work closely with the parts and service departments
  • Ensure quality work
  • Demonstrate a "servant's heart" by creating unique and personalized experiences

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma
  • Technical school training
  • ASE certifications are preferred
  • Professional appearance and communication
  • A genuine desire to serve
  • Ability to multitask
