Role Summary

A Sales Associate at Anthropologie contributes to driving sales through providing a genuine and unique experience to each customer. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, visual merchandising, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience
  • Engage with customers in a personalized way, making them feel welcome, heard, and valued.
  • Support a selling environment on the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product suggestions.
  • Utilize technology to provide a frictionless customer experience, including transactions, size and color assistance, and order placement for items not available in-store.

Teamwork + Communication
  • Build productive relationships with peers, asking for support when needed and making an effort to help others.
  • Participate in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities to inspire customers.
  • Contribute to a positive team morale by participating in store initiatives and highlighting peers and leaders through the SPARKED journal.
  • Provide insights related to the customer and employee experience, communicating feedback to Store Leadership.

Visual + Business Operations
  • Understand the contribution to service and selling on every shift, impacting the store's business.
  • Support the shipment process, gaining awareness of product, including new and restock items, and contribute to omni order fulfillment processes while maintaining stock levels.
  • Maintain Anthropologie's visual and operational standards, focusing on the customer, and stay current on merchandising updates.
