The Community YMCA is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Driver to transport members and guests to various locations. This role requires a minimum of 5 years driving experience and 2 years CDL experience.
About the RoleThis position involves safely transporting individuals, maintaining a clean and well-organized bus, and promoting a positive atmosphere among passengers.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
- Drive bus safely according to YMCA policies and procedures and state laws.
- Complete thorough before-and-after trip checks each day and record all information.
- Report safety concerns to supervisor.
- Minimum age of 21.
- Valid CDL license with School Bus Endorsement.
- Current physical exam.
- Certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days of hire.
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth.
