About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our cardiology services.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct routine check-ups, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Cardiology or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience working in a cardiovascular care setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
