Numismatic Assistant

Heritage Auctions, the largest auction house founded in the U.S., is seeking a skilled Numismatic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Currency department, you will play a vital role in assisting Consignment Directors and Operations staff with research, writing projects, project management, and client communications.

• Provide exceptional customer support and communicate effectively with clients throughout the consignment process.
• Assist in all stages of catalog production, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Research and analyze consignment material to ensure accuracy and authenticity.
• Perform department-wide inventories of consignment material and work on longer-term projects to improve department efficiencies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge and passion for numismatics and history.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
