Job Summary

The Metal Fabrication Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining EDM and CNC Milling equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare workstations for operation, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Operate machines, monitoring quality to meet NeedleTech quality standards.
  • Follow product handling procedures, handling products with care.
  • Monitor output during shifts to achieve standard run rates.
  • Notify group leaders or supervisors of any machine or quality issues.
  • Use inspection microscopes to verify product workmanship.
  • Complete required documentation, including work travelers and output logs.
  • Communicate pass-down information relevant to job assignments.
  • Clean and organize work areas upon completion of shifts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-12 months of experience in metal fabrication, preferably with EDM or CNC machines.
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform related tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to comprehend drawings and use measuring equipment.
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
