Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project engineering and related personnel functions, including subcontractor planning and administration.
  • Ensure compliance of project engineering activities with company and contract standards while supporting the overall construction schedule.
  • Provide technical assistance for construction efforts, including participation in planning and design, interpretation of designs, application of construction methods, and resolution of design conflicts.
  • Develop, implement, and manage project engineering procedures and other work-controlling documents.
  • Represent the company, project, and/or department in meetings with architects, engineers, clients, and project management.
  • Collaborate with all on-site departments to resolve issues and ensure construction quality in support of the project schedule.
  • Serve as the key technical resource on projects, potentially overseeing one or more small to medium-sized projects.

Qualifications:

  • A four-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant construction engineering experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technologies, codes, and standards, along with a comprehensive understanding of the interdependencies among various functional units.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
