Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

IDR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Norman, Oklahoma.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality catheterization procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiograms
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Develop and implement patient education programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a catheterization laboratory setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
