About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at Prescott Village, a not-for-profit organization providing quality care and service to seniors in a Christian environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN)
  • Assist with basic health care needs, including daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational
  • Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
