About the Opportunity
CrossMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating medical imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Operate medical imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce diagnostic images
- Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
- Develop and process radiographs and other images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
