Electroplating Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electroplating Technician to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As a key member of our metal finishing team, you will be responsible for setting up and controlling the plating line to coat metal objects with protective or decorative surfaces.

• Set up and control the plating line to ensure high-quality finishes
• Maintain the quality of plating solution and inspect finished parts to meet customer specifications
• Read work orders to determine specific plating instructions and follow job routings and supervisory personnel guidelines
• Process products in cleaning and rinsing baths and plating solutions for the required amount of time
• Remove plated products from solutions and inspect them periodically to ensure conformance to customer specifications

• 1+ year's experience in electroplating and metal finishing
• Knowledge of chemical handling and plating solution management
• Basic math and geometry skills to measure thickness and inspect parts
• Ability to process parts with minimal supervision and maintain a reliable attendance record

Aerotek offers a competitive salary range of $41,600 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a permanent position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota, with a fully onsite work environment. Please note that this position requires exposure to plant and warehouse conditions, including heat, humidity, dust, fumes, gases, toxic/caustic chemicals, airborne particles, and loud noise.
