Position Summary:
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing and delivering next-generation airborne command solutions that are vital for national security. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring effective command, control, and communication capabilities during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a comprehensive instrumentation test team across diverse test operations, including:
- Data acquisition package design and installation
- Test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
- Data management and flight operations support
- Oversee the instrumentation effort from concept through de-modification, including:
- Requirements development
- Design and lab testing
- Integration and operational support
- Engage in high-level Integrated Test discussions with customers and senior leadership.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to address instrumentation needs and schedules.
- Manage work activities as a Control Account Manager.
- Conduct functional analysis and trade studies to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with approximately 14 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience with extensive ground and flight test programs, including compliance with 14 CFR Part 25 and military systems testing.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet, 1553, ARINC 429, and CAN bus.
Preferred Skills:
- Leadership experience in managing teams and overseeing employee development.
- Experience with large transport category jet aircraft testing and complex instrumentation systems.
- Proficiency in generating electrical and mechanical drawings for instrumentation installations.
- Background in software development or coding.
Compensation and Benefits:
Estimated starting salary range is $138,000 to $190,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. SNC Ltd offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for eligibility.
