GIS Instructor

Viterbo University is seeking qualified applicants for temporary part-time teaching assignments in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Sustainability. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and are ongoing recruitments.

Course Description: This course introduces students to the field of GIS and its applications in sustainability and conservation. Students will learn about the background and methodologies of data collection in this science, analyze results produced by GIS in the field of sustainability, and explore research trends using this technology.

Requirements: Applicants must meet the minimum educational requirements, which typically include a master's or higher degree in the discipline or subfield in which they teach. Recent professional experience and expertise may also be considered for individuals who hold a master's degree in a related field.

Application Process: Applicants should upload a cover letter indicating their area of discipline along with a current vita. If recommended for a position, official transcripts will be required prior to a contract being issued.
