Allegheny Health Network's (AHN) Women's Institute is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Director to lead our Maternal Fetal Medicine Division in Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative new models of care within ultrasound and contribute to the growth and success of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes for ultrasound services.
  • Oversee the recruitment and development of sonographers.
  • Provide education and training to physicians and residents on ultrasound techniques and POCUS exams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide full scope consultative clinical care.
  • Pursue research opportunities and academic appointments with Johns Hopkins and Drexel.

Program Highlights:

Our Women's Institute, Maternal Fetal Medicine Program, offers a range of innovative services, including:

  • Joint programs with Women's Cardiology Group and Women's Behavioral Health Program.
  • Diabetes in Pregnancy Program.
  • Dedicated Perinatal Hospice Program.
  • Two Level III neonatal ICUs and two Level II neonatal ICUs within the health system.
  • Robust genetic counseling services, including a board-certified Reproductive Geneticist.

Requirements:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Sonography training required.
  • Eligible for a Pennsylvania Medical License.
