As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide patient care collaboratively with the RN, displaying respect for patients' rights, dignity, values, confidentiality, and expressed needs.

Tasks performed are in compliance with department and policies and procedures, and within educational preparation as well as the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensed as a practical nurse in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act)
  • Florida LPN intravenous (IV) therapy certification
