Job Summary

Paper Transport is seeking a skilled CDL Class A truck driver to join our team for a regional run. As a CDL-A truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting standard freight across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from one location to another
  • Ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining a safe and efficient driving record
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding hours of service, weight limits, and other safety guidelines
Benefits
  • Competitive mileage rate of 60 CPM
  • Average weekly pay of $1,440 and average yearly earnings of $75,000
  • Experienced minimum pay guarantee of $900
  • 5.5 days out, 34 hour reset at home (start day typically Sunday or Monday)
  • 99% no-touch and 50/50 drop and hook operations
  • Operating area primarily in Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, and Georgia, with occasional trips to other states
Additional Perks
  • Experienced drivers receive a 1.5-day orientation and a $1,500 sign-on bonus
  • New CDL graduates receive a 1-week paid orientation and 2-weeks paid on-the-job training
  • $20 paid stop-off and $20/hour paid detention (after only 1 hour)

Requirements
  • Current Class A CDL
