AutoCAD Drafter

Bledsoe Construction LLC. is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join their team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to create technical drawings to aid in the design, construction, and engineering of various projects. Key duties include:

• Utilizing CAD software, such as AutoCAD, to prepare accurate and detailed drawings
• Collaborating with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications
• Developing related technical documents, including material lists and cost estimates
• Ensuring all drawings meet industry standards and are free from errors
• Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates
• Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD software and its applications
• Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create accurate drawings
• Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings meet specifications
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues
• Time management skills to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards
• Advanced mathematical skills

Education:

• A two-year associate degree or
• 1-year certificate program in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) or
• At least two to three years of experience as a AutoCAD Drafter
