Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team at our plasma collection center in Bossier City, LA. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, conducting medical evaluations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility and conduct medical evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct physical examinations and review medical history to identify potential health risks
- Administer vaccinations and medications as required
- Monitor and report any adverse reactions or medical issues
- Collaborate with center staff to ensure smooth and efficient plasma collection operations
- Current RN licensure in the state of Louisiana
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
