Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter I to join our team at Carillon Hotel Management LLC. As a Carpenter I, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks to ensure the hotel's facilities are functional and attractive to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of hotel facilities, including carpentry, painting, and other related tasks.
  2. Complete assigned work orders within the designated timeframe to achieve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  3. Perform systematic checks and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent malfunctions, breakdowns, and depreciation.
  4. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and resolve room maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain tools, workspaces, and equipment in a safe and secure condition to reduce accidents and prolong their use.
  6. Repair and/or change room locks for the security of hotel guests and staff.
  7. Assist in maintaining safety equipment and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of all guests and associates.
  8. Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous manner at all times.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
Requirements
  • Capable of dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs.
  • Fulfill Carillon Hotel Management LLC standards for service to guests, residents, and club members.
  • Responsible for PPE (personal protective equipment) use and daily maintenance.
  • Adhere to Carillon Hotel Management LLC Facility Lock and Key policies and procedures.
  • Support the HotSOS work order system in implementation and adherence, including the prioritization of assigned work.
  • Maintain open and professional communication between management and staff.
  • Read, write, and communicate instructional and other technical terms, details, and concepts in the English language.
  • Support the Hazard Communication Program of the facility.
