CT Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality images to aid in the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
  • Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing care to patients.
  • Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and/or invasive procedures.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
