Job Overview:

The Facility Maintenance Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of designated facilities in alignment with organizational standards and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including restrooms, offices, floors, and hallways, utilizing appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
  • Operate various cleaning equipment, such as high and low-speed scrubbers and carpet extractors, to maintain cleanliness.
  • Restock supplies, including soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper, as needed.
  • Maintain communication with supervisory staff to report on cleaning activities and any issues encountered.

Work Schedule: 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to engage in physical activities, including standing, walking, and navigating stairs.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation to the work location.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check in accordance with agency standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a custodial or maintenance role.
