We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Math Instructor/Tutor at Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students of varying skill levels, from basic math concepts to advanced algebra. They will work closely with our center manager and staff to develop and implement effective lesson plans, track student progress, and provide feedback to parents and guardians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver math instruction to students in a one-on-one or small group setting
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  • Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians
  • Collaborate with center staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in math education

Requirements

  • Strong math skills, including algebra and geometry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
