Job DescriptionAt Garden State Irrigation, we are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Office Clerk to join our team. As an Office Clerk, you will be responsible for answering phones, directing calls, and handling customer inquiries related to scheduling service technicians visits. You will also be responsible for filing paperwork, making copies, faxing documents, and mailing information to customers as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, experience working in an office environment, and strong organizational skills. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and assist customers with questions and direct calls
- Schedule customers for service or installation appointments
- Process incoming paperwork, make photocopies, and file paperwork
- Sort mail and distribute it to the appropriate places
- Maintain records of business transactions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and Adobe software
- QuickBooks experience is a plus
