Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Corewell Health. As an Ultrasound Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by physicians and documenting findings. You will also assist physicians with invasive procedures as needed and provide appropriate patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by physicians and document findings.
  • Assist physicians with invasive procedures as needed.
  • Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field.
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
  • CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required.
  • CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire required.
  • CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire required.
  • CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography 1 year required.
  • CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist within 1 year required.
Work Environment

This position is located at the Center for Outpatient Services in St. Joseph, Michigan. The department name is Ultrasound - Center for Outpatient Services. The employment type is part-time, and the shift is variable. The weekly scheduled hours are 0.04, and the hours of work are variable.
