About the Role:

This position is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products in our stores. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meats to meet customer demands. You will work closely with our meat department team to ensure that all products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut and trim meats to meet customer specifications
  • Prepare and package meat products for display
  • Operate department scales and pricing equipment
  • Rotate and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays
  • Notify management of product and supply needs
  • Receive, unload, and stock merchandise
  • Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling techniques
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department
  • Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) year retail or other related experience preferred
