About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing orthopedic procedures and surgeries. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of care plans and progress.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Experience in orthopedic nursing, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
