Professional Practice Excellence RN Case Reviewer

The University of New Mexico - Hospitals seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to support the Professional Practice Committee in the management of data and information for ongoing professional practice evaluation and focused professional practice evaluation. This role involves monitoring, validating, and documenting aggregate data, as well as developing accurate clinical case summaries, data trending, and reports for the committee.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Professional Practice Committee Chair and Members in their evaluation activities through data monitoring and validation.
- Orient new committee members to the designated format for evaluation and documentation of reviews.
- Identify and maintain data sources and streams for service-specific indicators.
- Communicate reports and data to Clinical Service Chiefs or Quality Committees as determined by the committee.
- Timely evaluate and close reviews through an effective tracking mechanism.
- Securely maintain evaluation data, reports, and minutes of the committee.
- Facilitate individual practitioner review of their data upon request.
- Oversee the collection of case review data for aggregation, analysis, and presentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 3 years of directly related experience.
- RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.
This role is sedentary, with occasional walking or standing, and is performed in an office environment with minimal hazard or physical risk.
