Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Atascadero, California.
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, rotating shifts, and 8 hours per day.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine, with experience in imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures on patients of all ages.
- Position and instruct patients for imaging exams.
- Adjust imaging equipment and determine proper dosage and exposure time.
- Follow ALARA guidelines to minimize radiation exposure.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- DHS certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Computer literacy and experience with radiology information systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
