About the Role:

The Shortage Control Associate is a key member of our store team, responsible for maintaining a secure shopping environment and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong presence, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the store entrance and identify potential security risks
  • Provide support to customers and associates
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Stand positioned at the front of the store, remaining vigilant and aware of surroundings
  • Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to review, analyze and comprehend business trends
  • Excellent communication with customers and co-workers
  • Excellent leadership skills that support fostering productive business relationships
