About the Role
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a key member of our team at Ascentria Care Alliance, responsible for developing and implementing behavior support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and the ability to provide clinical consultation and crisis intervention when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behavior support plans in collaboration with people served, families, and other applicable stakeholders.
- Provide clinical consultation and crisis intervention as needed.
- Provide and/or model the provision of individualized support and behavioral interventions to enhance social, daily living and communication skills and increase successful interactions at home and in the community.
- Develop and implement plans that will increase coping skills and overall satisfaction with daily living.
- Provide training, consultation and coaching to staff, families, and stakeholders.
- Attend facilitate, and/or participate in 1:1 and group meetings and trainings as assigned.
- Conduct annual and periodic clinical assessments of people served and utilize information gained to establish or update behavior support plans as appropriate.
Requirements
- Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field.
- Current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst in the state of Massachusetts (BCBA/LABA).
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills required.
