Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and energetic individual to join our team as a Lunch/Recess Attendant at Nysmith School. This part-time position involves supervising students during lunch and recess transitions, maintaining order in the cafeteria and playground, and establishing a safe environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during lunch and recess transitions to ensure a smooth and safe experience
  • Maintain order in the cafeteria and playground, including cleaning up after meals and activities
  • Establish and maintain a safe environment for all students, including supervising students in designated classrooms during bad weather
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or injuries to the supervisor immediately
  • Participate in regular safety training and follow all school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation: $16.42 per hour, Monday through Friday, school days only
