Job Title: Post Partum/Mother Baby Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Post Partum/Mother Baby Registered Nurse to join our team at NavitsPartners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal and child care, with experience in IV insertion and phlebotomy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to post partum and mother baby patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Insert IV lines and perform phlebotomy as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.

Requirements:

  • Current New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS, IV/Phlebotomy experience, AHA ACLS (except Bellevue), NRP certified.
  • Two years of maternal and child experience, with a focus on post partum and mother baby care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Working Conditions:

This is a 3-month contract position, with a rotating weekend schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work as scheduled, including holidays.
