Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Your Contribution

Enhance coffee consumption by informing customers, preparing, and serving a diverse range of coffee beverages and food items. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient sales practices and adherence to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers warmly and cultivate a welcoming environment.
  • Accurately and efficiently process customer orders.
  • Prepare and serve coffee beverages and other drinks following established recipes.
  • Operate coffee brewing equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, including counters and seating areas.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as necessary.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about menu offerings.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
  • Identify customer needs and direct them to the appropriate department for follow-up.
  • Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee menu and answering questions.
  • Prepare and sell coffee beverages by following recipes and preparation methods.
  • Manage inventory by replenishing coffee supplies and maintaining stock of pastries and snacks.
  • Restock refrigerators with beverages and condiments.
  • Maintain the grab-and-go area by rotating and replenishing items.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in work areas, including sweeping and mopping.
  • Prepare and gather items required for meal service.
  • Provide outstanding service to all guests.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to write notes and brief instructions with correct spelling and grammar.
  • Deliver friendly and efficient customer service.
  • Communicate clearly and present information effectively.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, understanding, and writing English.
  • Apply common sense to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Learn to operate equipment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capable of heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Adhere to time schedules for meal preparation and service.

Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED with at least six months of experience in a customer service role.

Preferred Experience:

  • Barista experience, fast food service, food preparation, or food handling experience. Experience in kitchens serving large groups is a plus.
