Firefighter/EMT Professional

Job Summary:

The Firefighter/EMT Professional will provide emergency medical services and firefighting duties to protect life and property. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of firefighting principles, emergency medical procedures, and public safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls for fire suppression, medical assistance, and hazardous materials incidents.
• Administer basic life support, including CPR and first aid.
• Operate fire apparatus and equipment, including pumps and hoses.
• Assist with emergency medical care, including stabilizing victims and transporting patients to treatment facilities.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and facilities in a state of readiness.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical training in firefighting and emergency medical services preferred.
• Valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certifications required.

Working Conditions:

The Firefighter/EMT Professional will work in a fast-paced emergency environment, exposed to hazardous materials and situations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to lift heavy equipment, and work in a team-oriented setting.
