Our imaging and radiology teams collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Utilizing advanced digital imaging technology, our medical professionals can access test results promptly, facilitating quicker treatment initiation. Our skilled imaging specialists are certified with advanced credentials and prioritize patient safety and comfort.

Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the Medical Imaging Specialist performs radiographic procedures at an appropriate technical level. Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing patients for radiological assessments.
  • Generating radiographs (x-rays) to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
  • Ensuring patient exposure to radiation is minimized.
  • Following established protocols and guidelines to execute job functions.
  • Working under direct supervision, with some degree of creativity and discretion required.
Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.

Qualifications:
  • Mandatory: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program, either hospital-based or a college degree program.
  • Mandatory: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or eligible for registration.
  • Mandatory: BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Mandatory: State licensure or certification as required.
  • Preferred: Advanced ARRT Registration.
