Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our esteemed team at Belmont Village. This part-time role involves working the night shift, specifically from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., on a rotating schedule of two days on and four days off.
Compensation
The starting pay for this position is $37 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and provide nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and ancillary providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Monitor residents' conditions and report any significant changes to physicians and family members.
- Oversee the work of Medication Technicians and Caregivers, ensuring adherence to care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Must possess an active LVN or LPN license in the relevant state.
- CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to work the specified schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Intermediate proficiency with computers and mobile devices is necessary.
