Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Vascular OR team at Carilion Clinic. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter.
  • Assume primary accountability for nursing coordination and provision of individualized care for patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate an age-specific interdisciplinary plan of care.
  • Administer treatments and medications accurately and document patient care in electronic medical records.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments, revisions, and evaluations of patient care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
  • Obtain CPR, and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
  • Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC) systems.
